Education brings out the best in a person and enables him to serve the society in the best way according to his capabilities. The overall grooming of a child requires a lot of hard work by the teacher wherein the child is nurtured and nourished with loving care and helps him to grow strong and makes him stable by providing a strong and sound foundation in life through classical arts. Geeta Bal Bharti School is one such Institution which provides a shady bower to all the blooming buds to blossom into beautiful flowers. Here, academic curriculum and co-curricular activities are taken up simultaneously which helps in the all round development of the child. So, the children are given the opportunities to exhibit their mental prowess and talent through various activities. The day begins with morning assembly which is headed by Class on duty that includes school thought, short story, Panchang, short speech, National Anthem etc. It’s wonderful to watch the young ones standing on the stage and performing with full confidence.

A man who has no hobby does not know all the good that is to be drawn out of life.” The school has numerous choices to offer. Students brush up their skills in the areas of their interests such as music, classical dance, folk dance, sports, art and craft, yoga etc. Children not only enjoy and celebrate important festivals like Lohri, Diwali, Rakhi etc. but also celebrate important days like Earth Day, Mother’s Day, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, Independence Day, Republic Day Sehbhoj etc. To give more of practical knowledge and exposure of the outside world, various trips are organized for the students. During this session, the students enjoyed their trip to a village. The students exhibited their talent in various activities like thumb printing, collage making, recitation, storytelling, show and tell activity, fancy dress show, calligraphy, paper folding etc.

The little ones loved to celebrate some special days which were observed from time to time such as Baisakhi, Independence Day, Grandparents Day, etc. Students participated in various competitions such as Spell Bee, Rangoli making, class presentation , class exhibition, Mehendi, Salad decoration, Drawing competition, Poster making, Extempore which gives them freedom to imagine and shape their creative ideas. Competitions like Quiz and Science Exhibition not only helps in increasing their talent but also helps in showing their capability. Students learn the spirit of true sportsmanship and leadership qualities through healthy competitions which is the demand of today’s world. The school has also conducted a scholarship exam for students. During the session ,they participated in various inter section sports competition, song, play, Rakhi-making , best out of waste, recitation, story telling, fun games, handball and football matches etc. which were a treat to watch. Bulletin Boards displayed hours of hard work and creativity of the students.

Bal Bharti focuses on the holistic development of the child. Hence, interactive workshops are regularly organized by the school. Health and physical fitness of the students is also a concern for the school. Therefore, Eye checkup camp was organized by the school. Participants in all activities were awarded certificates by carefully examining and keeping a record of the efforts made by the students.
