Our Curriculum Approach

At Geeta Bal Bharti Sr. Sec. School, Rajgarh Colony, Delhi-31, we follow a multi-disciplinary, interactive, and child-centric approach to learning. Our curriculum extends far beyond academics, supporting the emotional, social, physical, moral, and ethical development of every learner.

We encourage peer learning, collaboration and confidence-building, helping students develop curiosity, creativity, and a spirit of exploration. Children learn through hands-on experiences, role-play, activities, and real-life connections—making learning meaningful, enjoyable, and relevant.

आधारभूत विषय शिक्षण

विद्या भारती के पांच आधारभूत विषय हैं: शारीरिक शिक्षा, योग शिक्षा, संगीत शिक्षा, संस्कृत शिक्षा, और नैतिक एवं आध्यात्मिक शिक्षा। इन विषयों का उद्देश्य छात्रों के सर्वांगीण विकास को बढ़ावा देना है। इनके बिना शिक्षा अपूर्ण मानी जाती है।

1. शारीरिक शिक्षा:शारीरिक शिक्षा: छात्रों के शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य के लिए।
2. योग शिक्षा:शारीरिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक विकास के लिए योग का अभ्यास।
3. संगीत शिक्षा:स्वर साधना और संगीत के माध्यम से सांस्कृतिक विकास।
4. संस्कृत शिक्षा:भारतीय संस्कृति और ज्ञान के भंडार को समझना।
5. नैतिक एवं आध्यात्मिक शिक्षा:छात्रों में नैतिक मूल्यों और आध्यात्मिक चेतना का विकास करना।

Curriculum - Pre Primary

Our Pre-Primary curriculum focuses on nurturing young learners through cognitive, linguistic, physical, social, and emotional growth in a warm and encouraging environment. Children are prepared with essential numeracy and literacy skills for entry into formal schooling.  

Learning Experiences:

Sensory Development:Touching, exploring, smelling, tasting, listening.

Language & Communication: Vocabulary games, Picture talk, Informal talk, Speech & drama, role play, dressing up, circle time.

Social & Emotional: Music & Movement, action songs, festivals & Celebrations, Daily chores.

Cognitive: Sequencing, puzzles and word building exercises.

Gross Motor: Running, exercises, stretching, swinging, balancing, climbing, nature walk, hop, skip, sand & water play.

Creative: Art & craft, Painting & Coloring, Cutting & Pasting, Junk Modeling, Play dough.

Curriculum - Primary

The primary wing of our school provides a happy, caring and a stimulating environment that instills in our students a joy for learning. The school follows a broad and balanced curriculum which recognizes the integration of the cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains of learning.

We ensure that every student in the Primary wing realizes his/her potential and is fully prepared to progress to the middle school with confidence and self-esteem.

The middle school curriculum gives students a solid academic foundation and provides a sensitive, nurturing environment in which students feel comfortable as they experience the challenges of the transitional years from childhood to early adolescence.

There is a serious commitment to prepare our students to be technologically competent.

Strategies to help students learn how to learn as well as how to use and handle knowledge and information are an important part of skills development.
